Register of Information for Jira — Documentation
User guide for the Register of Information for Jira app by DynSup Labs LLC.
Overview
Register of Information for Jira presents the full published ESA DORA Register of Information template structure — as defined in Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/2956 — directly inside Jira. You populate that structure with your own data and export a deterministic xBRL-CSV rendering of what you entered.
The app runs entirely on Atlassian with no external egress: your register data stays in your Atlassian tenant. The app does not send your data anywhere else.
Getting started
- Install the app from the Atlassian Marketplace.
- In Jira, open the Register of Information global page.
Browsing templates
Pick a template from the selector. For each field, the app shows its data point, its type, and whether the ESA template marks it as required, optional, or conditionally required (for example, "required when …"). These markings are shown descriptively, exactly as they appear in the ESA template structure.
Entering your data
For each template you can add, edit, and delete your own rows. Nothing is pre-filled, suggested, or checked against your facts. You decide which rows and which values apply to your organisation.
Importing from Jira (optional)
You can optionally select your own existing Jira issues and author the field mapping yourself. Values are copied verbatim from the fields you choose. The app does not classify your issues or decide what belongs in your register — the mapping and the contents are entirely your choices.
Exporting
Generate the xBRL-CSV rendering of your rows, following the ESA template structure. The export reflects exactly the rows and values you entered.
Before submitting to your competent authority, validate any export with the European Banking Authority's own validation tools. You are responsible for confirming that the output meets your authority's requirements.
What this app does not do
- It does not make you DORA-compliant.
- It does not score, grade, or rate you or your register.
- It does not advise you.
- It does not decide which fields, contracts, or providers apply to you, or which are critical or important.
- It is provided AS IS, with no warranty of any kind.
You remain fully responsible for your Register of Information and your obligations under DORA Article 28.
